I’m 52 years old and have sensorineural profound deafness by birth. I stay with my family in Mumbai, a capital city of Maharashtra state in India. My family includes wife and one son. I have various hobbies like arts & entertainment, reading, sports, films and travel. I have to use the streets for everything in life. The lack of traffic rules and discipline makes sometimes very unsafe. Even walking on the sidewalks or footpaths occupied by unauthorized vendors does not feel safe. Our whole life is covered by streets, so there is no choice but going out on the street. So, regardless of whether the condition of the streets is good or not, there is no other way or option.
